Mr. Madhav Shirvalkar, at the age of 23, started his career (in 1979) as a Magazine Editor with Siemens India Ltd, a world renowned multinational company. After serving Siemens for 5 long years, he left Siemens in 1983 to start his own advertising and media company called NLS (National Language Services). NLS, today, is a successful INS Accredited ad agency serving more than 50 principal clients including private sector companies, and an autonomous body under
the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India. Mr. Madhav is still a Director and Advisor to NLS.
In 1995, Mr. Madhav established a new company called Pujasoft and made a debut in the field of Information Technology. Pujasoft, in 1996, launched mumbaitimes.com, a portal covering the
aspects of city of Mumbai. The site was ranked 1st on the Search Engines like Web crawler, Excite and was among first five on Yahoo. Google was not existing then. In 1998, Pujasoft owned domains like shinde.com, bhosle.com, pandharpur.com, ashtavinayak.com and many others which still are its intellectual properties. In the subsequent years Pujasoft registered a number of web domains which included

In the year 1999, Sanganak Prakashan, a new firm in the field of publishing, was established with a view to publish print books on various topics concerning Information Technology. In August 2000, it published two Marathi books written by Mr. Madhav Shirvalkar
1) 'Web Designing : Tips and Tricks', and
2) Email and Chat.
Both the books were responsed very well and the first edition was entirely sold out within 3 months. The books were reprinted in December 2000 and once again in April 2001.
In the year 2001 (June 10), Sanganak Prakashan published two more books written by Madhav Shirvalkar, titled 'Computer Virus : Swarup ani Upay' and '1001 Best Websites Directory'. The books were ceremoniously launched in a lavish programme which was graced by the presence of then Information Technology Minister Mr. Pramod Mahajan, who was the Chief Guest on that occasion.
Throughout the year 2001, Mr. Madhav wrote a weekly column called 'Sanganak Jagat' (means Computer World) in the Daily Loksatta, one of the largest circulated dailies in Maharashtra.
The column was extremely popular amongst readers throughout the state.
During 2002 to 2004, Sanganak Prakashan published two more books by Madhav Shirvalkar. This time it was 'Photoshop : Tips and Tricks', a book for those who wanted to learn Photoshop
Techniques. The other book (Sanganak Jagat) was a collection of selective articles of Mr. Madhav on various topics concerning Information Technology. Both the books were an instant success.
In 2005, the first ever ebook in Marathi - 'Samagra Ram Ganesh Gadkari Vangmaya' was published in a Press Conference held at Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh's Dhanukar Hall.
Mr. Sanjeev Sabade, the City Editor of Daily Maharashtra Times, graced the occasion as Chief
Guest . During the years 2005 and 2006, Sanganak Prakashan published more than 60 ebooks in English and Marathi. All of them were a great success.
In 2006 and 2007, the Gazetteer Department of Government of Maharashtra, assigned the prestigious Ebooks and Digitisation projects to Pujasoft The projects were successfully completed before schedule and the ebooks compiled by Pujasoft, have now been available on the official website of Government of Maharashtra - www.maharashtra.gov.in. In the same year, Pujasoft designed www.vishwakosh.org.in , the official website of Maharashtra Rajya Marathi Vishwakosh Nirmiti Mandal. The website was officially inaugurated by Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh, Chief Minister, Maharashtra State, at his official residence Varsha Bungalow. Apart from these prestigious projects, Pujasoft undertook many other projects under the able leadership of Mr. Madhav.
As regards the educational background, Mr. Madhav holds a Graduation in Commerce from Mumbai University, and a Diploma in Business Management. At the age of 52, he is extremely enterprising and equally ambitious to take Pujasoft Technologies on the newer heights. As CMD, he is a guide and inspiration for every employee at Pujasoft. |
